I granted you sysop status here. Thanks for your help and best wishes. Yann 09:21, 10 January 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I removed the status for the time being. See User_talk:ThomasV#TheoClarke and User_talk:Yann#sysop_nomination. Yann 10:37, 10 January 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

british locations[edit]

The transwikification links you provided are wrong: you use / but you wrote \ in the page.

Anyway, I am not sure if the wikipedia people will accept this list. there was already a discussion about this list. please read the archive about that.

The Blindmen and the Elephant[edit]

Ah! Thanks for pointing that out to me. If it pops up over at "en:" I'll nix it there.—Zhaladshar (Talk) 22:17, 13 January 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

lorem ipsum[edit]

why did you add wikipedia headers in 15 languages to this file? ThomasV 14:36, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Because without those contextual statements, to someone coming indirectly to the article, it is not obvious that this is not simply a piece of text in some unusual Latin variant. Without the context, it is conceivable that a reader might attempt to make sense of the text. —Theo (Talk) 14:42, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

this text already exists in la.wikisource; it should be deleted from here. this site ( is for texts written in languages for which a subdomain does not currently exist. concerning the explanatory texts, this content belongs in wikipedia, not in wikisource. the purpose of wikisource is not to duplicate information already in wikipedia. ThomasV 15:03, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thank you for the explanation. Putting it in la: makes a kind of sense. I assume that you will now delete it from here without my needing to add it to Wikisource:Proposed deletions. —Theo (Talk) 15:08, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hello TheoClarke,

I'm Aleator, from catalan/spanish wikis. We are moving from wikisource general to catalan wikisource. There is a template (Ca-source) wich now links to your user and to an article we will move in a few minutes/days. Can I add the {{movedtoca}} template and so an admin deletes the template? The "Català" category will be deleted in short also. Thanks and hope my english understandable ;) 17:25, 8 October 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]
