یہ آیۂ نو، جیل سے نازل ہوئی مجھ پر
گِیتا میں ہے قرآن تو قرآن میں گیتا
کیا خوب ہُوئی آشتیِ شیخ و بَرہمن
اس جنگ میں آخر نہ یہ ہارا نہ وہ جِیتا
مندر سے تو بیزار تھا پہلے ہی سے ’بدری‘
مسجد سے نکلتا نہیں، ضدّی ہے ’مسیتا‘
