یوں تو عاشق ترا زمانہ ہوا
مجھ سا جاں باز دوسرا نہ ہوا
خودبخود بوئے یار پھیل گئی
کوئی منت کش صبا نہ ہوا
میں گرفتار الفت صیاد
دام سے چھٹ کے بھی رہا نہ ہوا
خبر اس بے خبر کی لا دیتی
تجھ سے اتنا بھی اے صبا نہ ہوا
ان سے عرض کرم تو کیا کرتے
ہم سے خود شکوۂ جفا نہ ہوا
ہو کے بے خود کلام حسرتؔ سے
آج غالبؔ غزل سرا نہ ہوا
