ہمیں وقف غم سر بسر دیکھ لیتے
وہ تم کچھ نہ کرتے مگر دیکھ لیتے
نہ کرتے کبھی خواہش سیر جنت
جو واعظ ترا رہ گزر دیکھ لیتے
رسائی کہاں بزم دشمن میں اپنی
کہ ہم بھی انہیں اک نظر دیکھ لیتے
تمنا کو پھر کچھ شکایت نہ رہتی
جو تم بھول کر بھی ادھر دیکھ لیتے
نہ رہتی خبر دین و دنیا کی حسرتؔ
جو سوتے انہیں بے خبر دیکھ لیتے
