چھپ کے اس نے جو خود نمائی کی
انتہا تھی یہ دل ربائی کی
مائلِ غمزہ ہے وہ چشمِ سیاہ
اب نہیں خیر پارسائی کی
دام سے اُس کے چھوٹنا تو کہاں
یاں ہوس بھی نہیں رہائی کی
ہوکے نادم وہ بیٹھے ہیں خاموش
صلح میں شان ہے لڑائی کی
اس تغافل شعار سے حسرت
ہم میں طاقت نہیں جدائی کی
