مری نگاہ کمالِ ہُنر کو کیا دیکھے
کہ حق سے یہ حرَمِ مغربی ہے بیگانہ
حرم نہیں ہے، فرنگی کرشمہ بازوں نے
تنِ حرم میں چھُپا دی ہے رُوحِ بُت خانہ
یہ بُت کدہ اُنھی غارت گروں کی ہے تعمیر
دمشق ہاتھ سے جن کے ہُوا ہے ویرانہ
