تغافل اس کو کہتے ہیں کہ اس نے
مجھے دیکھا نہ محفل میں عدو کو
نہیں پانی تو مے خانے میں اے شیخ
جو کچھ موجود ہے لاؤں وضو کو
سمجھتا ہی نہیں ہے کچھ وہ بد خو
نہ خود مجھ کو نہ میری آرزو کو
نہ بھولا گھر کے اعدا میں بھی حسرتؔ
ترے فرمودۂ لاتقنطو کو
