شاعر بھی ہیں پیدا، عُلما بھی، حُکما بھی
خالی نہیں قوموں کی غلامی کا زمانہ
مقصد ہے ان اللہ کے بندوں کا مگر ایک
ہر ایک ہے گو شرحِ معانی میں یگانہ
بہتر ہے کہ شیروں کو سِکھا دیں رمِ آہُو
باقی نہ رہے شیر کی شیری کا فسانہ،
کرتے ہیں غلاموں کو غلامی پہ رضامند
تاویلِ مسائل کو بناتے ہیں بہانہ
