نظر پھر نہ کی اس پہ دل جس کا چھینا
محبت کا یہ بھی ہے کوئی قرینا
وہ کیا قدر جانیں دلِ عاشقاں کی
نہ عالم، نہ فاضل، نہ دانا، نہ بینا
وہیں سے یہ آنسو رواں ہیں، جو دل میں
تمنا کا پوشیدہ ہے اک خزینا
یہ کیا قہر ہے ہم پہ یارب کہ بے مے
گزر جائے ساون کا یوں ہی مہینا
بہار آئی سب شادماں ہیں مگر ہم
یہ دن کیسے کاٹیں گے بے جام و مینا
