موٹر
کیسی پتے کی بات جُگندر نے کل کہی
موٹر ہے ذوالفقار علی خاں کا کیا خموش
ہنگامہ آفریں نہیں اس کا خرامِ ناز
مانندِ برق تیز، مثالِ ہوا خموش
میں نے کہا، نہیں ہے یہ موٹر پہ منحصر
ہے جادۂ حیات میں ہر تیزپا خموش
ہے پا شکستہ شیوۂ فریاد سے جرَس
نکہت کا کارواں ہے مثالِ صبا خموش
مِینا مدام شورشِ قُلقُل سے پا بَہ گل
لیکن مزاجِ جامِ خرام آشنا خموش
شاعر کے فکر کو پرِ پرواز خامشی
سرمایہ دارِ گرمیِ آواز خامشی!
