موت ہے اک سخت تر جس کا غلامی ہے نام
مکر و فنِ خواجگی کاش سمجھتا غلام!
شرعِ مُلوکانہ میں جدّتِ احکام دیکھ
صُور کا غوغا حلال، حشر کی لذّت حرام!
اے کہ غلامی سے ہے رُوح تری مُضمحل
سینۂ بے سوز میں ڈھُونڈ خودی کا مقام!
