اک فقر سِکھاتا ہے صیّاد کو نخچیری
اک فقر سے کھُلتے ہیں اسرارِ جہاں گیری
اک فقر سے قوموں میں مسکینی و دِلگیری
اک فقر سے مٹّی میں خاصیّتِ اِکسیری
اک فقر ہے شبیّری، اس فقر میں ہے مِیری
میراثِ مسلمانی، سرمایۂ شبیّری!
