مجاہدانہ حرارت رہی نہ صُوفی میں
بہانہ بے عملی کا بنی شرابِ الَست
فقیہ شہر بھی رُہبانیت پہ ہے مجبور
کہ معرکے ہیں شریعت کے جنگ دست بدست
گریز کشمکشِ زندگی سے، مَردوں کی
اگر شکست نہیں ہے تو اور کیا ہے شکست!
