زاغ کہتا ہے نہایت بدنُما ہیں تیرے پَر
شَپرّک کہتی ہے تجھ کو کور چشم و بے ہُنر
لیکن اے شہباز! یہ مُرغانِ صحرا کے اچھُوت
ہیں فضائے نیلگوں کے پیچ و خَم سے بے خبر
ان کو کیا معلوم اُس طائر کے احوال و مقام
رُوح ہے جس کی دمِ پرواز سر تا پا نظر!
