اقبالؔ کو شک اس کی شرافت میں نہیں ہے
ہر ملّتِ مظلوم کا یورپ ہے خریدار
یہ پِیرِ کلیسا کی کرامت ہے کہ اس نے
بجلی کے چراغوں سے منوّر کیے افکار
جلتا ہے مگر شام و فلسطیں پہ مرا دل
تدبیر سے کھُلتا نہیں یہ عُقدۂ دشوار
تُرکانِ ’جفا پیشہ‘ کے پنجے سے نکل کر
بیچارے ہیں تہذیب کے پھندے میں گرفتار!
