رُسوا کِیا اس دَور کو جَلوت کی ہُوس نے
روشن ہے نِگہ، آئنۂ دل ہے مُکدّر
بڑھ جاتا ہے جب ذوقِ نظر اپنی حدوں سے
ہو جاتے ہیں افکار پراگندہ و ابتر
آغوشِ صدف جس کے نصیبوں میں نہیں ہے
وہ قطرۂ نیساں کبھی بنتا نہیں گوہر
خلوَت میں خودی ہوتی ہے خودگیر، و لیکن
خلوَت نہیں اب دَیر و حرم میں بھی میَسّر!
