مرے لیے ہے فقط زورِ حیدری کافی
ترے نصیب فلاطُوں کی تیزیِ ادراک
مری نظر میں یہی ہے جمال و زیبائی
کہ سر بسجدہ ہیں قُوّت کے سامنے افلاک
نہ ہو جلال تو حُسن و جمال بے تاثیر
نرا نفس ہے اگر نغمہ ہو نہ آتش ناک
مجھے سزا کے لیے بھی نہیں قبول وہ آگ
کہ جس کا شُعلہ نہ ہو تُند و سرکش و بے باک!
