جب ہوا شب کو بدلتی ہوئی پہلو آئی
مدتوں اپنے بدن سے تری خوشبو آئی
میرے نغمات کی تقدیر نہ پہنچے تجھ تک
میری فریاد کی قسمت کہ تجھے چھو آئی
اپنی آنکھوں سے لگاتی ہیں زمانے کے قدم
شہر کی راہ گزاروں میں مری خو آئی
ہاں نمازوں کا اثر دیکھ لیا پچھلی رات
میں ادھر گھر سے گیا تھا کہ ادھر تو آئی
مژدہ اے دل کسی پہلو تو قرار آ ہی گیا
منزل دار کٹی ساعت گیسو آئی
