کھلتے ہيں غلاموں پر اسرار شہنشاہی
عطار ہو ، رومی ہو ، رازی ہو ، غزالی ہو
کچھ ہاتھ نہيں آتا بے آہ سحر گاہی
نوميد نہ ہو ان سے اے رہبر فرزانہ!
کم کوش تو ہيں ليکن بے ذوق نہيں راہی
اے طائر لاہوتی! اس رزق سے موت اچھی
جس رزق سے آتی ہو پرواز ميں کوتاہی
دارا و سکندر سے وہ مرد فقير اولی
ہو جس کی فقيری ميں بوئے اسد اللہی
آئين جوانمردں ، حق گوئی و بے باکی
اللہ کے شيروں کو آتی نہيں روباہی
