بدل لذت آزار کہاں سے لاؤں
اب تجھے اے ستم یار کہاں سے لاؤں
پرسش حال پہ ہے خاطر جاناں مائل
جرأت کوشش اظہار کہاں سے لاؤں
ہے وہاں شان تغافل کو جفا سے بھی گریز
التفات نگہ یار کہاں سے لاؤں
نور عنقا ہے شب ہجر کی تاریکی میں
جلوۂ صبح کے آثار کہاں سے لاؤں
صحبت اہل صفا خوب ہے مانا لیکن
رونق خانۂ خمار کہاں سے لاؤں
شعر میرے بھی ہیں پر درد ولیکن حسرتؔ
میرؔ کا شیوۂ گفتار کہاں سے لاؤں
