اُس قوم کو شمشیر کی حاجت نہیں رہتی
ہو جس کے جوانوں کی خودی صُورتِ فولاد
ناچیز جہانِ مہ و پرویں ترے آگے
وہ عالَم مجبور ہے، تُو عالَمِ آزاد
موجوں کی تپِش کیا ہے، فقط ذوقِ طلب ہے
پنہاں جو صَدف میں ہے، وہ دولت ہے خدا داد
شاہیں کبھی پرواز سے تھک کر نہیں گِرتا
پُر دَم ہے اگر تُو تو نہیں خطرۂ اُفتاد
