Add topicHaitian Creole Wikisource
[edit]Hi. I added Kreyòl ayisyen to Wikisource's language portal on the Main Page.
Also, note that in Wikisource:Language_domain_requests#ht.wikisource.org_.28HaitianCreole.29 for "sitename and namespace" you need to select an appropriate word and spelling for "Wikisource" in Haitian Creole, not the name of the language. If the simple word "Wikisource" works then that is fine, but you need to pick a name.
Good luck! Dovi 11:41, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
You suggested: "wikiplas or wikiespas which means "wiki space"? I could also phoneticize source as "sòrs" for wikisòrs" - all of these are fine! Just make sure to pick one and get consensus from any other Haitian Creole speakers for the name you pick. Dovi 19:45, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Hi. I just put in "wikisòrs" so that you will have a valid suggestion there. Feel free to change it to "Wikisource" or "wikiplas" or whatever option you and other Creole speakers feel is best.
- Also, since you are the one requesting the domain, you should really put some text on your user page, especially a link to any other project at which you have been active. Dovi 20:01, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Naming Haitian Creole Articles
[edit]Another suggestion - you are using titles like this:
You don't need to have "Kreyòl Ayisyen/" in the title. You could (and probably should) move these to:
For each of them, you could then add a language category: category:Kreyòl Ayisyen. Dovi 19:45, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
