Hi and welcome here in the multilingual Wikisource. But, I have some questions concerning your edits here. First, the documents here should be categorized by language. And, secondly, could you explain in which language the documents are - and why many of them seem to be very similar? Please answer these questions before continuing. Thank you much, -jkb- 09:14, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings
The documents intended to be in Malay language. I am still new in writing articles and could make errors. Please kindly leave some advices.

Well, I am a bit surprised. If I compare e.g. the pages Gereja Katolik, Anglikan Tradisional, Versi Ekumenikal 1988 or others, they seem to be in English. And, by the way, if you mean Malayalam, so there is a subdomain here: ml:Main Page -jkb- 09:38, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Such documents will be deleted after translation into Malay language is complete. It is Malay, not Malayalam. Malay language is similiar to Indonesian with a bit differences.

OK. Sure, I know there are some more languages of that sort, sorry if I did a mistake not to distinguish between Malay and Malayalam. But: Obviously, you want to translate the pages from English to Malay. Then, You should do this first, and you should publish here the translations. English texts in this domain will be deleted immediatelly - because English language has an own domain. And secondly: I hope you know that not only the origin text must be free (i.e. public domain) but also the translation itself.
OK. If you have some other questions so we can discuss them. Good luck for now, -jkb- 17:41, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You can categorise Malay pages in Category:Bahasa Melayu. Glad to know someone interested in contributing Malay pages.Aviator 20:41, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Split pages[edit]

I found that some of your pages are collections of smaller documents. One example is Dokumen sejarah. You can split that page into multiple pages, i.e. Piagam Madinah, Perjanjian Hudaibiyah, Piagam Hak Kebebasan; and put them into Category:Dokumen sejarah if you like. We will have more pages in a psychological sense, and hopefully we will have our own proposed Wikisource site sooner. Cheers! Aviator 07:06, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please make sure that all contributions are in the public domain (i.e. non-copyrighted material or more than 50 years old). Aviator 07:08, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If possible, can you make that for me? Helang putih 14:49, 23 February 2008

Syair Rakis[edit]

Thanks for your contribution for Syair Rakis! I've been looking for it for a long time. I only have a few pages of it. Do you have the entire copy? If it's originally written in Jawi, then it's better to submit the text in Jawi along with Rumi. BTW, I can help with the Jawi transcription process. Aviator 15:42, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I got original Jawi text from UKM homepage (http://www.ftsm.ukm.my/ftsm/IRPA/EA0036/Arkib/srakis/srakis.htm). I didn't put Jawi text because I'm not sure whether original Jawi text is under copyright or not. Helang putih 17:28, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Epistle of Barnabas[edit]

I've tagged it for deletion because it is actually at en:s:Epistle of Barnabas (Lightfoot translation). Regards. -Aleator (talk) 14:27, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Keyakinan Nicene[edit]

Hello! Do you still need the pages Keyakinan Nicene (bahasa Inggeris) and Keyakinan Nicea (bahasa Inggeris) that you created in 2007? It is English text and it is already in the correct project (English Wikisource: [1]), so if you don't mind I'll tag them for deletion. Best regards! -Aleator 00:06, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
