Talk:Egils saga

Currently no pages link to this one, and I'm unsure about where it should be put. Should it go under anonymous texts? Many people believe the Icelandic poet Snorri Sturluson composed this saga--even though there are no explicit records to back it up--so should it go under his name? It would probably be best to put it under the anonymous texts, yes, since we aren't really sure who actually wrote it? Zhaladshar 14:39, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)

It should go under "Icelandic sagas" afaik all the authors of those are unknown, but if you're going to categorize it by author then yes put it under anonymous texts Snorri being the author is only speculation.
No page on wikisource links to this, but at least three on various wikipedia projects now do. --Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason 15:57, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Do you known about handwritten source and date ? On http://sagnanet.is are digital images of about 240000 manuscript pages of Icelandic family sagas. Xcor 07:03, 9 Feb 2005 (UTC)
