G. THE NOTE IN THE WURZBURG CODEX MSS. TH. F. 61.

This codex is a copy of S. Matthew's gospel with a commentary. The text is said by Schepss" to be in a hand of the eighth century; 5 the commentary was written in the ninth. " Auf dem 29. der eingehefteten blattchen steht folgende interessante notiz," here printed from a photograph :

Mosinu^ maccumin scriba et abbas benncuir'^ primws hebemensiuw compotem** a graeco quodam sapiente memorali^er dedicit.
