EXPLANATORY NOTE
WHEREAS, there is an imperative need to update the existing Lingayen Tricycle and Pedicab Ordinance by formulating additional policies and guidelines in order to conform with the actual traffic situation in the Municipality of Lingayen, Pangasinan;
WHEREAS, these additional policies and guidelines will help the traffic enforcers implement orderly the traffic ordinance;
WHEREFORE, on motion of SBM Andrea V. Meneses duly seconded by SBM Ricardo R. Ferrer, be it:
RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to enact this corresponding ordinance.
ORDINANCE NO. 73, S-2019
AN ORDINANCE SETTING FORTH ADDITIONAL POLICIES AND GUIDELINES TO ORDINANCE NO. 25, S-2014 (LINGAYEN TRICYCLE AND PEDICAB ORDINANCE).
Be it enacted by the Sangguniang Bayan of Lingayen, Pangasinan in session duly assembled that:
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This ordinance shall be known as "An Ordinance setting forth additional policies and guidelines to Ordinance No. 25, S-2014".
SECTION 2. ADDITIONAL POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
2.a All pedicab drivers shall secure Driver's Permit from the Licensing Office duly signed by the Municipal Mayor.
