5. Dé mair: „great God“ Stokes. Vgl. a Dé móir Fél. Epil. 78, 79. Anders O’Curry Lect. p. 503 ba amru retha: i. in rith sa. Vgl. amru sceoil Hy. 5, 18. Es wird wohl beide Male amra zu lesen sein.

7. hi fithisi: „in (his) course“ Stokes. Allein das Pron. poss. dürfte auch im Irischen nicht fehlen.
8. atchithi: i. a sanctis. Die erste Hälfte des Verses hat acht Silben, vielleicht ist atchith zu lesen.
9. Stokes übersetzt: „It was a help to Ireland (the) coming of Patrick, who was called.“ Ich betrachte tichtu als Subj. zu forochlad, mit Bezug auf die Glosse zu 16^b.
10. ro clos: i. fo hErinn.
11. macraide: i. Crebriu ocus Lesru dí ingin Glerainn mic hui Enne dicentes: Hibernenses ad te clamant, veni sancte Patrici salvos uos facere.
