یوں بہ مشکل دل مجروح سے پیکاں نکلا
میں یہ سمجھا کہ ترے وصل کا ارماں نکلا
دیکھ کر اس کو دم نزع ہوئیں آنکھیں بند
جان کے ساتھ ہی دیدار کا ارماں نکلا
عرصۂ حشر میں پرسش جو ہوئی اس بت کی
میرے ہی دل میں وہ غارت گر ایماں نکلا
دھوم صحراۓ قیامت کی بہت سنتے تھے
اے جنوں وہ بھی مرا ایک بیاباں نکلا
خاک میں مل گئے ہم جس کی تمنا میں جگرؔ
وہ لحد پر بھی سنبھالے ہوئے داماں نکلا
