کیوں خفا ہو کیوں ادھر آتے نہیں
دیکھتا ہوں تم نظر آتے نہیں
وہ یہ کہہ کر داغ دیتے ہیں مجھے
پھول سے پہلے ثمر آتے نہیں
ہم ہیں وہ مے نوش پی کر بھی کبھی
میکدے سے بے خبر آتے نہیں
دیکھتا ہوں ان کی صورت دیکھ کر
دھوپ میں تارے نظر آتے نہیں
نیند تو کیا نیند کے جھونکے عزیزؔ
ہجر میں وقت سحر آتے نہیں
