کھو کر تری گلی میں دل بے خبر کو میں
فکر خودی سے چھوٹ گیا عمر بھر کو میں
سازش بقدر ربط تھی طور و جمال میں
سمجھا ہوں آج عقدۂ سنگ شرر کو میں
اب ہے تو مستقل ہو فروغ شب وصال
ایسا نہ ہو چراغ جلاؤں سحر کو میں
صحرا سے بار بار وطن کون جائے گا
کیوں اے جنوں یہیں نہ اٹھا لاؤں گھر کو میں
جھوما کیا سرور سے سیمابؔ رات بھر
دیکھا کیا کسی کی نشیلی نظر کو میں
