کٹ گیا رشتۂ الفت جو ترا نام آیا
دل وفادار تھا لیکن نہ مرے کام آیا
عشق کے ہاتھوں چراغ ایک سر شام آیا
تیرہ بختی میں مرا دل ہی مرے کام آیا
طلب ملک عدم سے نہ جہاں دیکھ سکا
ابھی منزل پہ نہ اترا تھا کہ پیغام آیا
نازش دہر نہ تھا میں تو پس مردن کیوں
محفل غیر میں سو بار مرا نام آیا
شمع روئی تو وہ کچھ دیر سہی تربت پر
خیر کوئی تو زمانے میں مرے کام آیا
