مصیبت اور لمبی زندگانی
بزرگوں کی دعا نے مار ڈالا
انہیں آنکھوں سے جینا چاہتا ہوں
جن آنکھوں کی حیا نے مار ڈالا
ہمارا امتحاں اور کوئے دشمن
کسی نے بے ٹھکانے مار ڈالا
پڑا ہوں اس طرح اس در پہ مضطرؔ
کوئی دیکھے تو جانے مار ڈالا
