چاہتا ہوں انتہائے درد دل
مل گئی آخر دوائے درد دل
کیا ضروری تھی دوائے درد دل
سن تو لیتے ماجرائے درد دل
عشق کی وجہ ندامت کچھ نہ پوچھ
دل ہے پہلو میں بجائے درد دل
جس کو دل لینے پہ اتنا ناز ہے
کاش ہوتا آشنائے درد دل
یوں نہیں مٹنے کی اخترؔ یہ خلش
دل کہیں آئے تو جائے درد دل
