چارہ گر چپ ہیں کیوں علاج کریں
کچھ تو اپنے کئے کی لاج کر
ان سے کس نے کہا تھا وہ مجھ کو
فرد ہستی میں اندراج کریں
روز کھٹکا سا دل میں رہتا ہے
دیکھیے کیا وہ حکم آج کریں
فرصت زیست کم ہی کام بہت
کل جو کرنا ہے ہم کو آج کریں
چارہ گر بھی نہ کیا کریں گے یاد
کر سکیں جس قدر علاج کریں
سب اسی کی سی کہہ رہے ہیں عزیزؔ
کس سے ہم عرض احتیاج کریں
