پھر چاہے تو نہ آنا او آن بان والے
جھوٹا ہی وعدہ کر لے سچی زبان والے
موجود دل جگر ہیں دے ابروؤں کو جنبش
دہرہ نشانہ بھی ہے دوہری کمان والے
یہ چپکے چپکے باتیں نظریں بچا بچا کر
رکھتے ہیں آنکھ ہم بھی ہم بھی ہیں کان والے
کہنا پتے پتے کی اور نام پھر ہنسی کا
چھریاں نہ بھونک دل میں میٹھی زبان والے
وہ آرزوؔ سر اپنا ٹکرا رہا ہے در سے
نیچے تو دیکھ جھک کر اونچے مکان والے
