پوچھی تقصیر تو بولے کوئی تقصیر نہیں
ہاتھ جوڑے تو کہا یہ کوئی تعزیر نہیں
ہم بھی دیوانے ہیں وحشت میں نکل جائیں گے
نجد اک دشت ہے کچھ قیس کی جاگیر نہیں
اک تری بات کہ جس بات کی تردید محال
اک مرا خواب کہ جس خواب کی تعبیر نہیں
کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کم بخت میں جان آ جائے
اس لیے ہاتھ میں لیتے مری تصویر نہیں
