پریشانی ہے جی گھبرا رہا ہے
کوئی دھیمے سروں میں گا رہا ہے
کہوں کیا حال ناکام محبت
تمناؤں سے جی بہلا رہا ہے
کوئی شب کی خموشی میں ہے گریاں
تصور میں کوئی سمجھا رہا ہے
تصور کی یہ مقصد آفرینی
میں سمجھا کوئی سچ مچ آ رہا ہے
جو رستہ خلد میں نکلا ہے جا کر
وہ دوزخ سے نکل کر جا رہا ہے
