پاس ادب میں جوش تمنا لئے ہوئے
میں بھی ہوں اک حباب میں دریا لئے ہوئے
رگ رگ میں اور کچھ نہ رہا جز خیال دوست
اس شوخ کو ہوں آج سراپا لئے ہوئے
سرمایۂ حیات ہے حرمان عاشقی
ہے ساتھ ایک صورت زیبا لئے ہوئے
جوش جنوں میں چھوٹ گیا آستان یار
روتے ہیں منہ میں دامن صحرا لئے ہوئے
اصغرؔ ہجوم درد غریبی میں اس کی یاد
آئی ہے ایک طلسمی تمنا لئے ہوئے
