پابند حکم گریۂ بے اختیار ہوں
میں سیل آبشار ہوں ابر بہار ہوں
ابر بہار ہوں نہ فضائے بہار ہوں
میں گرد دامن چمن روزگار ہوں
اے باغبان گلشن ہستی بتا مجھے
اپنی بہار ہوں کہ چمن کی بہار ہوں
ہیں یاں کے ذرے ذرے میں بے تابیاں مری
میں جان بے قرار و دل بے قرار ہوں
کہتا ہے حسن یار سے حسن نگاہ مصر
چڑھتی بہار تو میں اترتی بہار ہوں
اب میں کہاں زمین و فضائے وطن کہاں
بیخودؔ میں آندھیوں کا اڑایا غبار ہوں
