وقت رخصت چلتے چلتے کہہ گئے
اب جو ارماں رہ گئے سو رہ گئے
جلد باز ارماں ترے دیدار کے
خون ہو کر آنسوؤں میں بہہ گئے
عمر بھر سوچا کیے سمجھے نہ ہم
آنکھوں آنکھوں میں وہ کیا کیا کہہ گئے
کیا چھپاتا ہے مرا حال اے طبیب
کہنے والے میرے منہ پر کہہ گئے
اس کی منزل تک نہ پہنچا ایک بھی
سب مسافر راستے میں رہ گئے
پہلے ناطقؔ دل جگر میں درد تھا
اب سراپا درد بن کر رہ گئے
