نعرۂ تکبیر بھی زاہد نثار نغمہ ہے
کس قدر اللہ اکبر اعتبار نغمہ ہے
کیا سریلی تھی صدائے حرف کن روز ازل
اب تک رگ رگ ہماری بے قرار نغمہ ہے
عندلیب خوش نوا پر آنکھ ہے صیاد کی
نرگس شہلا سراپا انتظار نغمہ ہے
تفرقہ ہو اس طرح تو کیا جمے عشرت کا رنگ
دل ضعیف و ناتواں لب زیر بار نغمہ ہے
شعر دو ہیں حضرت غالبؔ کے دیواں میں عزیزؔ
یہ غزل میری اسی مے کا خمار نغمہ ہے
