موت کو زیست ترستی ہے یہاں
موت ہی کون سی سستی ہے یہاں
دم کی مشکل نہیں آساں کرتے
کس قدر عقدہ پرستی ہے یہاں
سب خرابے ہیں تمناؤں کے
کون بستی ہے جو بستی ہے یہاں
چھوڑو بے صرفہ ہیں ساون بھادوں
دیکھو ہر آنکھ برستی ہے یہاں
اب تو ہر اوج کا تارا ڈوبا
اوج کا نام ہی پستی ہے یہاں
