مروت کا پاس اور وفا کا لحاظ
کرے آشنا آشنا کا لحاظ
دم سجدہ سر سخت تھا بے ادب
کیا کچھ نہ اس نقش پا کا لحاظ
نہ محروم رکھ مجھ کو حسن قبول
رہے کچھ تو دست دعا کا لحاظ
وہ ہیں پاس اب بس کر اے درد دل
کرے کچھ مرض بھی دوا کا لحاظ
ملائی نہ وحشتؔ کبھی اس سے آنکھ
مجھے تھا جو اس کی حیا کا لحاظ
