محفل فروز جلوۂ جانانہ ہو چکا
دیوانہ دل کو ہونا تھا دیوانہ ہو چکا
سیکھے تری نگاہ سے آداب خامشی
اب مجھ سے کوئی نعرۂ مستانہ ہو چکا
بکھرے چمن میں پھول تو آتا ہے مجھ کو یاد
وہ موسم بہار کہ افسانہ ہو چکا
اس بد نصیب کو کہیں ملتی نہیں پناہ
جو تیری بارگاہ سے بیگانہ ہو چکا
آیا ہمارے جینے کا انداز سب کو یاد
جب ذکر جاں نثاریٔ پروانہ ہو چکا
کچھ روز آستان در یار بھی سہی
عابدؔ طواف کعبہ و بت خانہ ہو چکا
