محبت کو کہتے ہو برتی بھی تھی
چلو جاؤ بیٹھو کبھی کی بھی تھی
بڑے تم ہمارے خبر گیر حال
خبر بھی ہوئی تھی خبر لی بھی تھی
صبا نے وہاں جا کے کیا کہہ دیا
مری بات کم بخت سمجھی بھی تھی
گلہ کیوں مرے ترک تسلیم کا
کبھی تم نے تلوار کھینچی بھی تھی
دلوں میں صفائی کے جوہر کہاں
جو دیکھا تو پانی میں مٹی بھی تھی
بتوں کے لیے جان مضطرؔ نے دی
یہی اس کے مالک کی مرضی بھی تھی
