مار ڈالا مسکرا کر ناز سے
ہاں مری جاں پھر اسی انداز سے
کس نے کہہ دی ان سے میری داستاں
چونک چونک اٹھتے ہیں خواب ناز سے
پھر وہی وہ تھے وہاں کچھ بھی نہ تھا
جس طرف دیکھا نگاہ ناز سے
درد دل پہلے تو وہ سنتے نہ تھے
اب یہ کہتے ہیں ذرا آواز سے
مٹ گئے شکوے جب اس نے اے جلیلؔ
ڈال دیں بانہیں گلے میں ناز سے
