حلقۂ اوہام ہستی سے نکل
یہ محبت کی رہ دشوار ہے
ڈگمگاتے ہیں قدم ناداں سنبھل
غم سے ہوتی ہے حقیقت آشکار
مضطرب موجوں میں کھلتا ہے کنول
وقت کی آواز سننا چاہئے
وقت کا فرمان ہوتا ہے اٹل
غم اگر قسمت میں ہو لکھا ہوا
ہوشؔ کام آتے نہیں سعی و عمل
