عشق خود مائل حجاب ہے آج
حسن مجبور اضطراب ہے آج
مے کدہ غم کدہ ہے تیرے بغیر
سرنگوں شیشۂ شراب ہے آج
متغیر ہے عالم جذبات
کون اس دل میں باریاب ہے آج
زندگی جس میں سانس لیتی تھی
وہ زمانہ خیال و خواب ہے آج
مٹ گئے دل کے ولولے سیمابؔ
ختم افسانۂ شباب ہے آج
