عریاں ہی رہے لاش غریب الوطنی میں
دھبے مرے عصیاں کے نہ آئیں کفنی میں
اقرار پہ بھی میری طبیعت نہیں جمتی
وہ لطف ملا ہے تری پیماں شکنی میں
دل ٹوٹ کے جڑتا نہیں شیشہ ہو تو جڑ جائے
ہے فرق یہی سوختنی ساختنی میں
حسرت ہے مری آپ کی تصویر نہیں ہے
اک چیز ہے رکھ لی ہے چھپا کر کفنی میں
ہم بھی کبھی پریوں میں رہا کرتے تھے شاعرؔ
کیا دیکھتے ہو ہم کو غریب الوطنی میں
