ظالم ترے وعدوں نے دیوانہ بنا رکھا
شمع رخ انور کا پروانہ بنا رکھا
سبزہ کی طرح مجھ کو اس گلشن عالم میں
اپنوں سے بھی قسمت نے بیگانہ بنا رکھا
تقلید یہ اچھی کی ساقی نے مرے دل کی
ٹوٹے ہوئے شیشہ کا پیمانہ بنا رکھا
دعویٰ تری الفت کا کہنے میں نہیں آتا
غیروں نے مگر اس کا افسانہ بنا رکھا
افسوس نہ کی دل کی کچھ قدر عزیزؔ افسوس
کعبہ تھا اسے تو نے بت خانہ بنا رکھا
